Two Dartmoors for Sale - SOLD
Chestnut with flaxen mane and tail. 6 Month old colt, quite small still, around Shetland size, should make roughly 12 hands or so.
Sherill Essie (aka Sherill)Dartmoor
Steel grey/black. 16 month old filly, around 10hands ish should make about 13 hands ish. Can be broken next year, I think she would be very easy to break. Both are very friendly, have never tried to bite or kick etc, just haven’t learnt to trust yet. Would make great kids ponies in the future as are very laid back, don’t gallop or buck around in the field. Can live in or out.
Both have passports and up to date worming etc.
I am happy to let them go as they are, as projects etc, or just as companions.
They are currently living with another horse and are fine with her. Or they can go when they have done more, been walked out, etc. If they were to go as they are now, I was looking for around £200 each. They can go separately or together.
I am open to ANY offers, so just make me one, I wont be offended! The right home is more important than price. I would prefer them to go to forever homes after they leave me, but if they were to rehomed again, I would like them to be offered back to me first, just so I know where they are going. Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. I am open to trials, loans etc. Any problems and I will have them straight back and wont judge etc.

Two Dartmoors for sale - SOLD
DARTMOOR YOUNGSTERS
We have 2 Dartmoor geldings, 2 year olds, who are looking for new homes. £150.00 each
Both these ponies were bought at Chagford pony sales last year. We had hoped to train them to drive, but with our advancing years and loss of help to do this, we sadly have to find new homes for them.
They spent last winter in a 30 acre run on the edge of Dartmoor , so they have developed very well, they are tough and sure footed. We have now had them back to home for just over a month, and they are now very sociable ponies. We can catch them, lead them about, pick out their feet and brush them all over. They have also had a saddle on their back and a bit in their mouth.
Although one looks grey in the photo, they are both dun, and should make a lovely pair of ride and drive ponies.

Yearlings for sale in West Yorkshire
Her Passport name is "Shapley 10" but I thought Violet suited her better and she has gotten to know her name now! The prefix of her name again is a known commoner breeder name on the Hill.Violet is to turn 1 in June.
Her Passport name is Vixen Beryl and am told that this prefix is a known Commoner breeder name in Dartmoor. Vixen has just turned 1 in April.
Vince
Vince is a loveable character who just wants fuss and attention! He is an adorable little man who I feel would be a great childs pony. He is headcollar broken, lifts his feet and can be touched all over. He LOVES being groomed and will stand all day and let you ! He came with Vixen and Violet from a not so nice place and is just wanting a secure home where he has a lot of love and turnout!

These ponies were due to go for conservation grazing which is why they did not go to the sales at the end of last year, unfortunately the arrangement fell through and so the DPTC are helping to sell them.
So far two of the ponies have names! Quaker the chestnut below is a very sweet handsome pony
And Wizard who is very confident around people.
